Here we are just two days away from yet another National Quartet Convention. Many folks are anticipating the move to Pigeon Forge TN. For folks that can’t make it to NQC this year I will be arm-chair quarterbacking the entire week via Southern Gospel Views from the Back Row. I will be watching the week’s events via the webcast.
As we kick off another weekend, I thought it would be nice to provide my readers another chance to win a classic Southern Gospel CD. Up for grabs this week is Triumphant Quartet’s debut CD from 2002, titled; Integrity Southern Gospel Quartet Style.
This was before the name change to Triumphant, when the group originated as Integrity Quartet. One would be hard pressed to find this CD nowadays, at least with the original Integrity Quartet name. Early hits from this album included “He’s Leading The Way”, “I Bring You Forgiveness”, “I’m Thinking Of A Mansion” and “It’ll Be Joy”.
Remember all CDs being given away is used (but I have been the only owner). All answers to the trivia questions can be sent to my email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please do not leave answers in the comments section. And I ask that any winner of a prize within the last month is ineligible to allow for other winners (so that gives you a chance to win at least once a month). Also, research is allowed. Here are this week’s trivia questions:
- Triumphant Quartet had a #1 hit with “Because He Loved Me”. What artist took the song to the top 10 back in 1983?
- In a six degrees of separation question, match current/former Triumphant Quartet member with their previous quartet (Anchormen, Kingdom Heirs, Monitors, Poet Voices, Won By One).
- Which one doesn’t belong? (Give Us This Day, Happy Land, I’ll Meet You By The River, Keep On Smiling, Peace O Lord)
- Finally, name the five quartets featured in the mash-up?
