  1. 1. Kingsmen – I’ve always liked this one
    2. Paid in Full – great cover, captures the concept
    3. Nelons – another great cover that captures the concept
    4. Rebels – probably the coolest cover of the year in the year it came out; a little dated now, but still better than many
    5. Ricky Atkinson and Compassion – really, I had a top 4, and the last two here are in no particular order at all
    6. Kirk Talley – ditto to #5

  2. These are tough to rank. There’s no clear good cover here.
    1. Rebels – This is the best of the bunch. The pose suits the album title.
    2. Kingsmen – I usually like covers with old clothes, but these are so stereotypical
    3. Talley – He looks like he’s about to fall out of his chair
    4. Nelons – I don’t mind the faded group members so much, but the pink cast turns me off on this one.
    5. Paid In Full – under-exposed, and the suits don’t suit the concept
    6. Compassion – I like black and white when there’s a clear advantage to using black and white, but I think color would have been better in this case. What’s worse is that the pose is poorly balanced. Is the lady really part of the group, or did they just fail to completely crop her out of the picture?

  3. 1. Paid In Full – Although you can’t see the members features to be recognizable, it has a nice modern look.
    2. Nelons – I do like this, but something seems a bit off. The colors aren’t particularly great and the layout with the artists above looks a little out of place.
    3. Kirk Talley
    4. Ricky Atkinson and Compassion – It’s okay, but a bit blah with the lack of color.
    5. Kingsmen – Not bad
    6. Rebels – It is a bit dated. It does sort of convey the theme, but it might have been more effective with an empty chair with a place setting there.

  4. 1.Kingsmen-great,old timey.
2.Rebels-Old timey and a good concept.
    3.Kirk Talley-good pose and a nice look.
4.Nelons-didn’t like them in the clouds and with a chopped off head.
5.Paid In Full-nope,didn’t like the backward shadowed pose.
    6.Ricky & Copassion-naw too faded looking.
