We have turned the page on another month.  It is April 2013 and time to look at five current radio songs.  These are the five current radio songs that received the most listens in my iPod over the course of the preceding month.  Weston and Christy Hinson gives the listener a classic Hinson style song while the Talleys and Dunaways give us two great family harmony songs.  The LeFevre Quartet and Old Paths round out the top five, both singing a Rodney Birch song.  Enjoy!

January 2013 is here and as I did in 2012, I will kick off each month with five current radio songs that piqued my interest over the preceding month.  2013 finds Channing Eleton’s first big solo single from his 2011 album Summer Rains Have Gone.  You will also find strong singles from Brian Free & Assurance, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Greater Vision and a break through debut single from Canton Junction.  Enjoy!

The final look at radio singles for 2012.  The following five current radio songs piqued my interest over the preceding month.  One of my all time favorite songs covered by the Sneed Family tops the list for December.  You will also find new artists the John’s River Quartet and Shannon Knight.  The Kingsmen and Bledsoes round out the five songs.  Enjoy!

November 2012 is upon us and time to highlight five current radio songs that piqued my interest over the course of the preceding month.  Family groups dominate the current radio hit list this month with chart topping hits from the Isaacs, the Hoppers, the Crist Family and the Collingsworth Family.  Beyond The Ashes also found a spot among all the family groups.  Enjoy!

Time to turn the page on another month.  Welcome October 2012.  As I start every month, I will highlight five current radio singles that piqued my interest over the course of the preceding month.

This month finds another strong radio single from Palmetto State Quartet’s 2011 album, a great up tempo quartet number from Legacy Five, a country tune from Akins, a great baritone vocal performance from the Inspirations and another chart worthy hit from Karen Peck and New River.  Enjoy!

September 2012 is here and it is time to highlight five current radio songs that piqued my interest over the course of the preceding month. This month’s radio songs find the Old Paths with a great up tempo quartet number, the Talleys with another career defining song, a Gold City power ballad, a fun sing along song by Marshall Hall and a country crooner style tune from the Dove Brothers Band.  Enjoy!
