I had a request this week for another Perry Sisters video clip from their 1991 audio/video recording, Heavenly Rain…Showers Of Blessing. Enjoy “Borrowed Tomb”, penned by Chuck Lawrence.
This week’s classic video clip coincides with the definitive look at the best albums of 1990. The Hoppers started their climb in Southern Gospel music after their mega #1 song in 1990; “Here I Am”. Here is a performance of that song in 1991 from Opryland in Nashville TN. Enjoy!

The 2012 Southern Gospel music association hall of fame inductees include Geraldine Morrison. I thought I would include some classic video footage in various posts of this year’s inductees. Geraldine was a member of Wendy Bagwell and the Sunliters. The trio traveled as a unit for over 35 years which also included Wendy Bagwell and Jan Buckner. Here is a 1986 video clip of the trio performing “I’ve Got His Footsteps”.

I received a request via email for some classic video footage of The Sound. The Sound was based in Texas and spent some time in Southern Gospel music in the late 1980′s / early 1990′s. Scott Fowler was a member of this group before joining the Cathedrals. I personally didn’t have any footage of my own but did find this clip on YouTube of The Sound performing “Here Comes The Bride”. Enjoy!
