Song Hall Of Fame – “He Is Mine And I Am His”

A quick reminder that round one voting in the Southern Gospel march madness competition will remain open until Wednesday.  To kick off another week I thought it best to get back to some regularly scheduled programming. This week’s inductee in to the Southern Gospel song hall of fame is a classic composition from George (GT) Speer or as everyone knew him; Dad Speer.

Dad Speer penned many of the family’s songs that have since become Southern Gospel standards.  ”He Is Mine And I Am His” is one of those standards.  The Speer Family paved the road for mixed/family groups to find success in an all male quartet dominated industry.
